RACE 1 – WHISTLE UP
WHISTLE UP, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. WHISTLE UP was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer L Ho this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, WHISTLE UP will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
RACE 4 – NOBLE CONSORT
After the race, an endoscopic examination was conducted on NOBLE CONSORT at the request of Trainer C S Shum. The Veterinary Surgeon reported that this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, NOBLE CONSORT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
RACE 4 – HARD PROMISE
HARD PROMISE, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. HARD PROMISE was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer T P Yung this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, HARD PROMISE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
RACE 6 – GALA NIGHT
GALA NIGHT, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. GALA NIGHT was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer J Moore this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be mildly lame in its left front leg and sore in its left front tendon. Before being allowed to race again, GALA NIGHT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
RACE 6 – GIANT TURTLE
GIANT TURTLE, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. GIANT TURTLE was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer A T Millard this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right hind leg. Before being allowed to race again, GIANT TURTLE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
RACE 8 – MORE THAN THIS
MORE THAN THIS, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. MORE THAN THIS was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer K W Lui this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, MORE THAN THIS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
RACE 9 – SUPERICH
SUPERICH, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. SUPERICH was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer F C Lor this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to have multi limb lameness. As previously advised, SUPERICH will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
RACE 10 – HIGH RISE SOLDIER
HIGH RISE SOLDIER, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. HIGH RISE SOLDIER was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer K W Lui this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, HIGH RISE SOLIDER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
RACE 11 – BEAUTY LOYAL
BEAUTY LOYAL, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. BEAUTY LOYAL was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer A S Cruz this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, BEAUTY LOYAL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
