1000m – Turf
| Bakoel Koffie | Hasn’t won for over a year but has run quite well in first two starts in 2020. Wasn’t beaten far when taken to Doha in Qatar for a valuable 1200m sprint in February. |
| Forza Capitano | Takes a class drop here, having been competing at Group level. May have needed his 2020 reappearance run when outpaced in a G3 sprint at Longchamp in May. |
| Kenbaio | Has plenty of experience at this track though hasn’t raced since last November. Wasn’t at the top of his game then but did gain a hard-fought win over 1200m here last July. |
| Leonio | Like many others in this sprint, he has mostly competed over further than this but he is a past winner over 1200m. Battled hard to win over 1500m on the Deauville all-weather surface in March. |
| Simply Striking | Having his first start of the year, he has failed to make an impact in Group contests but is notably consistent at his level, rarely far from the money. He can handle any surface. |
| Wayatos | Had some fair form in Italy last year and did win a minor event in Switzerland last June. However he is likely to be taken out of his comfort zone against strong local opposition here. |
| Wind Test | From a stable with some good results lately though he was soundly beaten in a Chantilly handicap in May. Has chances if at the top of his game and does have winning form over 1000m. |
