The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast for betting seven races on Poule d’Essai des Poulains Day from Deauville Racecourse in France on Monday, 1 June.

The G1 Poule d’Essai des Poulains (reserved for colts) and the G1 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches (restricted to fillies) are otherwise known as the French 2,000 Guineas and French 1,000 Guineas, and are the first classic races of the French season. Due to conronavirus restrictions, the meeting will be held in Deauville instead of ParisLongchamp this year.

Race details will be announced later this week.

Final declarations with barrier draws for the Poule d’Essai des Poulains Day races will be available late evening on Friday, 29 May at HKJC.com.
