To celebrate the arrival of 2020, a mega prize of $68 million for “Lucky Start Jan 1” is up for grabs during the first two days of the New Year.

$16 million Triple Trio on Lucky Start Jan 1 Raceday
The first chance to win will be the “Lucky Start Jan 1” race meeting at Sha Tin Racecourse on Wednesday 1 January 2020 when the Triple Trio jackpot will be topped up to $9 million from the Triple Trio Jackpot Reserve, meaning that the estimated dividend for a single $10 winning unit could reach $16 million.

$2 million jackpot for Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool
In addition, the Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool on 1 January will also be topped up with a $2 million jackpot for Race 6 and Race 10, with $1 million dollars allocated to each race.

$50 million for Mark Six New Year Snowball draw
A Mark Six New Year Snowball draw will be held on Thursday 2 January.  The draw will carry a snowball of $38 million, and the First Division Prize Fund could reach $50 million. 

Tickets for the Mark Six New Year Snowball draw are available from 26 December while betting pools for the “Lucky Start Jan 1” race meeting, including the Triple Trio, Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool, will go on sale from noon on 31 December.
