Amendments to Jockey Challenge Rules

02/12/2019 11:52

There are two amendments to the rules of Jockey Challenge with effect from today, 2 December 2019:

1. If a nominated race at a race meeting is declared void, all Jockey Challenge bets placed on that race meeting will remain valid. There will be no refunds as in our previous practice, and the void race will not be counted.

2. If the top two or more jockeys have the same points in a race meeting and the same number of 1st placings to 4th placings, one outright 4th placing will have twice the calculation value of one dead-heat 4th placing.

Scenario Existing From 2 December 2019
If a race is declared void Refund Bets remain valid and the void race not counted
If the top two or more jockeys have the same points and the same number of 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th placings No difference between an outright 4th placing and a dead-heat 4th placing An outright 4th placing will have double the value of a dead-heat 4th placing
