LONGINES HKIR will be held Sunday at Sha Tin Racecourse

Sha Tin Racecourse will host one of world racing’s most celebrated events – the LONGINES Hong Kong International Races – on Sunday, 8 December. Come and experience the truly world-class on-course action on turf.

After Race 2, all jockeys participating in the four Group 1 races will greet racing fans in the Parade Ring to raise the curtain on this year’s International Races. The four International Group 1 races worth a total purse of HK$93 million will be run on the turf track in the following order:

Race 4 (1:40pm) – LONGINES Hong Kong Vase (2400m, prize money HK$20 million)
Race 5 (2:20pm) –  LONGINES Hong Kong Sprint (1200m, prize money HK$20 million)
Race 7 (3:30pm) –  LONGINES Hong Kong Mile (1600m, prize money HK$25 million)
Race 8 (4:10pm) – LONGINES Hong Kong Cup (2000m, prize money HK$28 million)

All visitors with valid travel documents or passports may enjoy free entry to the public stands at the LONGINES Hong Kong International Races at Sha Tin Racecourse on 8 December (except areas with additional entrance fees).

Admission to the racecourse for the LONGINES Hong Kong International Races will start at 10:30 am.  Race 1 is at 12:00 noon. There will be no door gift for racegoers on 8 December.
