2 wins from 25 starts. Finished a smart 3rd in a 1400m this class at Chukyo in July two starts back. Generally sits handily or takes lead but can race from midfield. No track worries.

Thurston Barham

2 wins, both over 1200m, in 8 career outings. Winner of an allowance race (1200m) at Niigata in August but unplaced latest. Generally sits handily.

Nishino Kotodama

2 wins in 10 starts. Claimed an allowance race (1300m) at Tokyo in June. Unraced since 7th in a middle-class stakes race at the course and distance later that month. Settles midfield. No ground issue.

Nishino Jaguars

1 win and 1 second from 12 starts on turf, then changed to dirt with a win in an allowance race at the course and distance in February. Unplaced in his last three runs though. Hold-up runner. Best on good going.

Fossamagna

The highly-talented turf performer showed his suitability to dirt as well when finished head 2nd in a middle-class stakes race at the course and distance in October. Also ran 4th in the G3 Kyodo News Service Hai (1800m) in February. Settles close to the speed but can race from midfield. Tested only on good going over the surface.

Peisha Negano

2 wins and 5 placings in 9 outings. Below par in his first-up from a 5-month break three starts ago. But he showed an upward curve in last two runs, finished 2nd and 3rd at the course and distance. Generally settles midfield. Tested only on standard and good.

Meiner Cadeau

2 wins over the mile from 5 outings on turf. Never tested on dirt. Sidelined for 15 months after taking a lower-class stakes race at Nakayama in December, 2017. Ran 8th in his seasonal return in a 1400m middle-class race at Hanshin in March last out. Likes to lead or sits close to the speed.

Mitono Amigo

2 wins in 25 starts with 20 starts on turf. His first win was on 1400m dirt in June 2018 and second win was on 1200m turf two months later, but has not tasted any success since. Most recent start was 7th in an allowance race over 1000m dirt at Sapporo on 18 Aug. Often ridden back. No ground issues on dirt.

2 wins over 1400m and 1600m from 17 starts. Won an allowance race on dirt 1400m in January but finished below par in the following two starts on turf. Tactically versatile. Goes on all ground.

Up and coming three-year-old with two wins over 1300m and 1400m, and four 2nds from seven outings. Either won or finished 2nd in his 3 previous starts at Tokyo. Generally sits close to the speed but can lead. Capable all track conditions.

Lembranca

3 wins over 1400m to 1700m from 17 outings.  Won twice on the tricky and small NAR track of Nagoya. Finished in the top 4 in five of six runs this term and this will be his first run up since August. Tactically versatile. No track worries.

Laurel Jack

2 wins from 22 starts.  Unplaced in 10 runs since taking a 1300m event at Tokyo in October, 2017. Last ran 7th in an allowance race at the course and distance on 5 Oct. Can settle handy but recently tends to get back.
