1 Curren Bouquetd’or
2 wins over 1600m to 1800m from 8 starts. Finished 2nd in the G1 Yushun Himba (2400m) at the course and distance, before a fine 3rd in the G3 Shion Stakes (2000m) in September. Ran 2nd to Chrono Genesis in the G1 Shuka Sho (2000m) on 13 October latest. Only carries 117lb and this will be her big advantage. Should suit the track at Tokyo. Settles at midfield or better, sometimes close to the speed.
2 Wagnerian
5 wins in 10 outings. Winner of last year’s Japanese Derby started off the season with a 3rd in the G1 Osaka Hai (2000m) in March. Lost shoes of both front legs when 4th in the G2 Sapporo Kinen (2000m) in August. Drawn wide but still raced well when 5th in the G1 Tenno Sho Autumn (2000m) latest. Can handle both right and left handed courses and the long stretch at Tokyo would not be an issue. Likes to get back.
3 Win Tenderness
6 wins over 2000m to 2500m from 37 outings. Took the G2 Meguro Kinen (2500m) in May 2018 but has been winless since. Ran 10th in the G2 Copa Republica Argentina (2500m) at Tokyo on 3 November latest. Tactically versatile. No track worries.
4 Muito Obrigado
6 wins from 1800m to 2600m, including 1 on dirt, from 21 outings. Won the G2 Copa Republica Argentina (2500m) for his first graded stakes success at Tokyo on 3 November latest. Also finished 2nd in that race in 2018. The wide and long stretch at Tokyo should be his best trip. Tactical versatile. Prefers firm track.
5 Suave Richard
5 wins over 1800m to 2500m from 17 starts. Not won since taking the G1 Osaka Hai (2000m) in April, 2018, but kept showing his class. Ran a smart 3rd in the G1 Dubai Sheema Classic (2410m) at Meydan in March, before finishing ahead of Rey De Oro in 3rd in the G1 Takarazuka Kinen (2200m) at Hanshin in June. Generally races from midpack or further. Tested only on firm and good.
6 You Can Smile
5 wins in 13 starts. Consistent performer between 2000m and 3400m. Claimed the G3 Diamond Stakes (3400m) in February and scored his second graded race success in the 2000m-G3 Niigata Kinen in September. Ran 3.5L 4th to Almond Eye in the G1 Tenno Sho Autumn (2000m) latest. Generally races from midfield or further. Tested only on firm.
7 Daiwa Cagney
7 wins over 1600m to 2000m from 19 outings. His first race up from 4-month break was the G3 Niigata Kinen over 2000m turf but he was trapped and no open space for him which lost his concentration and finished 16th. Travelled nicely to win the Listed October Stakes (2000m) at Tokyo latest. Best on speed. Likes firm.
8 Rey de Oro
7 wins in 15 starts. The 2017 G1 Tokyo Yushun winner ran disappointing 6th in the G1 Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan in March and finished 5th in the G1 Takarazuka Kinen in June. His first race up in the autumn campaign was 4th in the G2 All Comers (2200m) at Nakayama in September latest. Track at Tokyo must be his best trip with two G1 wins. Hold-up runner. No ground issues.
9 Look Twice
6 wins over 2000m to 2500m from 20 outings. Breaking the track record in his win in the G2 Meguro Kinen (2500m) at Tokyo in May. Also fared well when carrying top-weight (126lb) in the G2 Copa Republica Argentina (2500m), first-up from a 5-month break. Has finished in top three in all 3 starts on 2400m at Tokyo. Generally races back.
10 Danburite
Won 4 over 1600m to 2200m from 20 outings. Ran 9th in the G1 Osaka Hai (2000m) in March but since spelled for 6 months due to injury. First-up a smart 2nd effort in the G2 Kyoto Daishoten (2400m). Has a staying power and can lead or sits handily. The softer track suits him.
11 Cheval Grand
Commenced his European campaign after finishing 2nd in the G1 Dubai Sheema Classic (2410m) at Meydan in March. Race twice in the UK, never handled the softish track at Ascot when 6th in the G1 King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2392m), before 8th in the G1 Juddmonte International (2051m) at York. Has been targeting this race after returning to Japan. The Tokyo 2400m should be his best trip. Christophe Soumillon will be on board. Hold-up runner.
12 Taisei Trail
Showing immense progress this term with 3 wins and 7 placings from 10 outings. A fine 2nd behind Muito Obrigado at his pattern debut in the G2 Copa Republica Argentina (2500m) on 3 November latest. Raced further back than usual but showed nice acceleration in that run.
13 Etario
Very consistent stayer who has had only 1 win but only missed on board once in 13 starts, also ran 2nd in the 2018 G1 Kikuka Sho (3000m). The Yasuo Tomomichi trainee started off the autumn campaign with a fine 5th in the G2 Kyoto Daishoten (2400m) on 6 October latest. Hold-up runner. Tested only on firm and good going.

Stretching out to 2400m should be more suitable for him. Hold-up runner. Yutaka Take will be on board.
15 Jinambo
4 wins over 1800m to 2000m from 7 outings. Won an upper-class stakes race over 2000m turf at Tokyo in June and returned from summer break and ran 2nd behind You Can Smile in the G3 Niigata Kinen (2000m) on 1 September latest. Generally sits close to the speed but can lead. No track issues.
