2000m – Turf
Blooming Sky |
Deep Impact colt from Katsuhiko Sumii stable ran 3rd in debut, won last out over 1800m at Kokura on 3 August despite interference at bend. Speed average but has good late kick. Not looking especially on game in recent work. Still immature both mentally and physically but likely popular pick. |
Champ De Fleurs |
Kizuna filly won debut race (only start) racing close to pace over 1800m at Kokura on 18 August. Good racing sense. Has potential. Getting ample work. Likely popular pick. |
Chuwano Kiseki |
Colt by sprint champion Kinshasa No Kiseki did well over 2000m in debut at Hanshin on 22 September. Only start thus far. Good speed among these members. Missed break ran from rear of midfield. Good late speed. Looking good in work. |
Gamila’s Jackson |
Eishin Flash colt who raced four times at the regional NAR circuit at Sonoda, won once over 1400m. Moving to turf for first time. Has only been getting light work. Wild card. |
Jun Light Bolt |
Has 1 first, 1 third from two starts over 1800m and 2000m respectively. Good late speed. Work ample. Has done well on softer ground but prefers fast track. Races from midfield or further back. |
Roll Of Thunder |
Epiphaneia colt won only start of career over left-handed Chukyo 2000m in late July. Moved early last out but has stamina. Good honest runner. In nice condition. Could do well with right trip. |
Soul Train |
Finished 4th in his debut over 1800m at Hakodate in July. Spooked and was slow to fire under Christophe Lemaire last out, but showed good late speed to win in a Hanshin 1800m on 21 September. Expected to be able to handle distance. Looking a bit off game in work. |
