Alde Emblem

Won once over 1800m on dirt from 10 career starts. Drops back in distance from last 3 starts at 2400m or over. Has run from midfield recently as opposed to previous far-off-the-pace style. Has decent speed but only one gear. Shorter trip may help but not promising.

Coconuts Slew

Sent to the regional NAR circuit after lack of success in JRA races in 2018, after finishing in money in all 6 NAR starts subsequently. Posted double-digit finish upon return to JRA in April but last out to finish 2nd over Hanshin 2000m in September after spelled for 5 months. First time at 2200m and Kyoto. Could surprise.

Elevar Azul

Broke maiden three starts ago at the course and distance, before finished 6th and 8th at Hanshin over 2400m-2600m. Last out on 28 September after nearly 4 months off. Decent speed. Promising with right trip.

Franklin

Has only 3 starts. Broke maiden at 1800m in April and leapt to graded level to finish 13th of 14 in the G2 Kyoto Shimbun Hai at the course and distance in May. Good speed. Returning after 5-month layoff but could surprise.

Luminous Coast

Won 4 and placed for 5 times at the regional NAR circuit, but unplaced in all his 8 starts so far in JRA races.  Returned to JRA races two starts ago and ran dead last in both Hanshin 1600m and Hanshin 1800m in September. Raced from rear. Poor speed. Not promising.

Moi

Has 1 win and 2 seconds from 9 starts. Posted first win last out on 4 August in Sapporo 2000m under Christophe Lemaire. Has been raced predominately in 1800m-2000m range. First time at distance, which may suit off-the-pace style. Good late speed.

Patrick

Won once and placed twice, all over Kyoto 2000m, from 6 starts. Returned after 6-month layoff to finish 4th in a Hanshin 1800m last out in September.  Excellent speed. Runs from far off pace. Extra distance a plus.

Pink Spider

Has 9 top 3 finishes, 8 of them in the regional NAR races, from 37 starts. Back with JRA for past 4 starts, best when 4th at the course and distance and this class in January.  Spelled for 8 months and finished 5th in a Hanshin 2600m in his return on 28 September. Decent speed. Runs from far off pace. Should show improvement. Worth a wager.

Shoryu Ikuzo

Won 1 of 7 career starts.  Best a 1.75L 3rd in the Listed Sumire Stakes (2200m) at Hanshin in February. Missed break and ran from rear last out in early August to finish 5th over Kokura 1800m. Usually sits midfield or better. Good speed. Worth a wager.

Tigrasha

Has 1 win, 2 seconds from 4 starts. Finished 2nd last out in Niigata 2000m in August. Excellent speed. Settles midfield last two starts but can led. Capable to handle slightly slower track. First time at distance but extra furlong likely a plus.

Yamakatsu Sisimaru

Has 1 win over Kyoto 2000m from 8 starts. Posted best a 7th last out at Hanshin 2400m on 16 September, from last 5 starts in this class over 2000m-2400m range. Not promising.
