| Dream Magic | Upgraded to G2 in the Flora Stakes (2000m) in April 2017 but finished 13th. Downgraded to allowance since and finished 4th in her seasonal debut (2200m) at Nakayama in January but ran 9th last out over 1800m on 11 February. Hold up runner. |
| Golden Fizzy | Winless since last August and 3 runs this term resulted in 8th, 10th and 8th respectively. Generally races from back but sat handy last out. |
| Iikoto Zukushi | Won the debut race at Hanshin in June 2017 and that was his only win in 19 starts. Ran 2nd in the 2000m allowance race at Kyoto in October but finished below par since. His most recent start was a 2000m race at Tokyo on 21 April but placed 11th. His recent tactics have been racing on speed. |
| Jingoist | With two wins and a second in three starts on dirt at Nagoya, he finished a smart 2nd in the 2400m allowance race at Tokyo on 4 May last out. Races close to speed. Tested only on firm track over turf course. |
| Kamakura | Her first race up this term was 2400m allowance race at Niigata on 29 April and showed powerful late burst to finish 5th. 2000m is a bit shorter for her but wide and long stretch at Tokyo should suit her tactics. Generally races from midfield or better. |
| Kongo Toshi O | 3 wins from 12 starts on dirt at NAR circuit last term and came off 12th-place on 2000m turf at Tokyo on 21 April. Races close to speed and no track worries. |
| Monza | Won the novice (1800m) at Tokyo last May but 7th place last out in the allowance race last September when he was trapped. Returned for the first time in eight months, he is fit and in good form. Generally races close to speed. |
| Prince Charmant | 2nd in 2000m Listed Fuyo Stakes at Nakayama in September 2015 and 4th in the 1800m G2 Spring Stakes in 2016, the consistent mile and quarter horse finished in top 5 in two starts out of three this term. Hold-up horse. Tested only on firm and good. |
| Symboli Bouquet | From 5 starts this term between 1800m and 2000m on turf, she has been unplaced. Generally sits handily and races from midpack. |
| Tosen Vigor | With 1 win and 3 thirds in 7 outings between 1800m and 2500m. Last out was over 2500m at Nakayama last September and resulted in 7th place. Ridden back for the closing speed. |
| Win Slava | First win was in the novice over 2200m at Niigata last August. Three starts this term, finishing below par. Generally races on speed or sits handy. |
