The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast for betting seven races from the 2,000 Guineas Day from Newmarket racecourse in UK on Saturday, 4 May. (1st race starts 8:50p.m., Hong Kong time)

The English Classic season kick starts with the running of the 2,000 Guineas. Since its inception in 1809, the 2,000 Guineas Stakes (G1 1600m) has been firmly established as a premier event for the 3yo generation. It is the opening leg of the illustrious English Triple Crown, and for more than two centuries some of the sport’s finest horses have sought Classic glory over the famous Rowley Mile.

The Guineas card is completed by important lead-up races for high class sprinters and stayers, a Listed race for Derby possibles and three Class 2 handicaps. Subject to change, the seven races on the card are as follows:

S1-1 8:50 pm 3yo+ Handicap
S1-2 9:20 pm Palace House Stakes
S1-3 9:55 pm Jockey Club Stakes
S1-4 10:35 pm 2,000 Guineas Stakes
S1-5 11:10 pm 3yo 81-100 Handicap
S1-6 11:45 pm Newmarket Stakes
S1-7 00:20 am 3yo 86-105 Handicap

Final declarations with barrier draws for the 2,000 Guineas Day races will be available on the morning of Friday, 3 May.
