The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast for betting seven races from Royal Randwick Racecourse in Australia on Saturday, 13 April (1st race 11:15am).
The Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival culminates with Day 2 of the Championships – the Grand Finals of Australian racing. WINX, the World’s highest-rated racehorse, will bid for an emotional farewell when she steps on to the racetrack for the last time in the G1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes. Australia’s superstar mare has won 36 of her 42 starts and stretched her amazing unbeaten run to 32 races when successful in the G1 George Ryder last month.
The seven races to be simulcast on Queen Elizabeth Stakes Day are:
- Percy Sykes Stakes (G2 1200m for 2yo fillies – The 2yo Fillies Championship)
- Arrowfield 3yo Sprint (Royal Sovereign Stakes) (G2 1200m for 3yo – The 3yo Sprint Championship)
- Australian Oaks (G1 2400m for 3yo fillies – the 3yo Fillies Classic Championship)
- Queen Elizabeth Stakes (G1 2000m for 3yo+ – The Weight For Age Championship)
- Sydney Cup (G1 3200m handicap for 3yo+ – The Stayers Championship)
- Coolmore Legacy Stakes (Queen of the Turf Stakes) (G1 1600m for 3yo+ fillies and mares – The Fillies & Mares Championship)
- Sapphire Stakes (G2 1200m for 3yo+ fillies and mares)
Final declarations with barrier draws for the Queen Elizabeth Stakes Day races will be available on the morning of Friday, 12 April.
