RACE 6 – FIFTY FIFTY

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that FIFTY FIFTY was lame in its right hind leg on the morning after racing.  Before being allowed to race again, FIFTY FIFTY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 10 – PICKEN

PICKEN, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea.  PICKEN was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer J Size this morning.  He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg.  As previously advised, PICKEN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
