Following his fall from SIMPLY BRILLIANT after the winning post in Race 6 The January Cup at last night’s Happy Valley meeting, Jockey Alexis Badel has today undergone further medical assessment by the Club’s Chief Medical Officer. The result of a subsequent scan taken of his left wrist revealed a minor fracture which will rule out Jockey Badel from his riding engagements at Saturday’s Sha Tin racemeeting. Accordingly, the following substitutions have been approved:-
