Dr P Curl, Executive Manager, Veterinary Regulation, has informed the Stewards that HELENE PARAGON, which is entered to run in the stated race, has been monitored due to mild right hind lameness and swelling over the back of its lower right hind leg.  He said that diagnostic investigations have so far not revealed any significant findings.

Dr Curl has examined HELENE PARAGON this morning and reported that whilst the lower leg swelling has improved, the horse was found to be moderately lame with a pulse to its right hind foot.

HELENE PARAGON’s condition will continue to be monitored and a further release issued at the appropriate time.
