Further to the release issued on 15 February 2018, the Stewards have received confirmation from the Laboratoire des Courses Hippiques in Paris, France that the referee portion of the blood sample taken from HAVE FUN TOGETHER after that horse finished in the fifth placing in the Fu Tai Handicap run at Sha Tin Racecourse on Sunday, 4 February 2018 has been, upon analysis, found to contain salicylic acid which exceeds the international threshold for that substance.

Mr F C Lor, trainer of HAVE FUN TOGETHER, has been notified of the independent laboratory’s findings.

The inquiry into this matter remains adjourned to a date to be fixed whilst further investigations into the findings continue.
