Permission has been granted for the following overseas jockeys to ride in The BMW Hong Kong Derby to be conducted at Sha Tin Racecourse on Sunday, 18 March 2018:-

Jockey H Bowman’s availability to participate at the aforementioned meeting will be determined later in the week when he undergoes a medical assessment to be cleared to resume riding following him being dislodged during a race at the Randwick meeting last Saturday, 10 March.
These jockeys are permitted to ride in the aforementioned race in accordance with the criteria previously approved by the Racing Committee in respect of the approval for overseas jockeys to ride in principal races in Hong Kong.
As Visiting Jockeys, the aforementioned jockeys will be permitted to accept race riding engagements in all races run at the race meeting in question.
