Mr William A. Nader joins the Club as Director of Racing Business and Operations

The Hong Kong Jockey Club announced today that Mr William Nader has been appointed to the newly established position of Director, Racing Business & Operations and will report for duty on 12 March 2018.

Reporting to Mr Andrew Harding, the newly appointed Executive Director of Racing, Mr Nader will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of Racing Business & Operations, covering Handicapping and Race Planning, Veterinary Clinical Services, Racing Operations (encompassing both tracks and stables), Owners Services, International Races, Sponsorship, and the International Sale.  He will be responsible for ensuring the smooth implementation of the Conghua Training Centre and delivering the dual site operation model for Conghua and Hong Kong.  Mr Nader will also be driving the PA strategy in promoting Hong Kong’s world-class racing and will be the Club’s representative on the Asian Pattern Committee.  

Mr Nader was with the Club for over eight years before he returned to the U.S. in January 2016. Whilst back in the U.S., Mr Nader provided strategic consultancy work for a number of startup and business expansion projects in both racing and wagering.

The Club welcomes Mr Nader’s return to the Club and looks forward to his contribution to the Club’s world-class racing.
