Race 2 – SOCCER BRAVE
SOCCER BRAVE, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. SOCCER BRAVE was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D E Ferraris yesterday morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. As previously advised, SOCCER BRAVE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
Race 9 – HAIR TRIGGER
HAIR TRIGGER, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. HAIR TRIGGER was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer J Moore yesterday morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, HAIR TIGGER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted yesterday morning of all other horses inspected during last Saturday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
