The Club’s Racing Medical Officer Dr William Woo has advised the Stewards this morning that Jockey Joao Moreira, who was stood down from his riding engagements at yesterday’s Flemington Racecourse after being dislodged from his mount REGAL MONARCH in Race 4, is unfit to ride at tonight’s Happy Valley race meeting.

Accordingly, the following declared standby riders will be substituted:-

A further release will be issued at the appropriate time in relation to Jockey Moreira’s fitness to be able to resume riding.
