| 2 | Eckstein | Had little luck in recent runs including when 2.3 lengths 6th to Ulmann in G3 Moonga Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on 21 October. Outstanding run when nose 2nd to Shoals in G1 Myer Classic (1600m) on Saturday. Generally races handy to speed and capable all conditions but note past three wins have been on soft ground. |
| 3 | Cool Passion | Enjoyed run of race when nose 2nd to Global Glamour in G2 Tristarc Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on 21 October. Has performed well each run for new stable. Best form on good ground. Can be ridden forward or back. Scratched from Group 1 race on Saturday to run here. |
| 4 | Quilate | Handled rise in grade very well when strong finishing head winner from Flying Jess and Prompt Response in G3 Vase (1600m) at Caulfield on 18 October. Generally settles back or midfield and capable wet or dry. Back 200m in trip today. |

Struggled when 10 lengths 15th to Shoals in G1 Myer Classic (1600m) on Saturday. Generally races on speed so drawn to suit. Good record at this distance. Best form on good ground. |

Placed at G3 level at only start this course and distance earlier this year. Likely to settle midfield or back. Handles all conditions but does appreciate soft ground. |
| 13 | Pedrena | Ran on well when 0.3 lengths 2nd to Cool Passion in G3 Northwood Plume Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on 14 October. That was first run since June when won this course and distance. Settles handy or touch further back as a rule. Yet to see a soft track. |
| 14 | Fille Champagne | Fair effort when 1.5 lengths 8th to Deja Blue in Listed Black Pearl Stakes (1200m) at Geelong on 25 October. Better suited this distance and likely to go forward from favourable draw. Three wins have come on good ground. |
| 15 | Lucyinrio | New Zealand mare having first run in Australia. Not finished outside first three in six starts at the distance. Last start was 2.5 lengths 2nd to Miss Wilson in G3 Spring Sprint at Hastings on 22 October. Excels on soft ground. Has never raced on a good rated track although race time suggests it was close to good at last run. Races on speed but drawn wide here. |
