The Club’s Racing Medical Officer Dr William Woo has informed Stewards that Freelance Jockey Alex H W Lai, who has been indisposed due to a fractured left wrist following a race fall at Sha Tin on Sunday, 10 September 2017, has also been diagnosed to be suffering from a head injury which is being treated and which will likely result in him being unable to ride for an extended period.  A further release will be issued at the appropriate time in relation to Jockey Lai’s fitness to be able to resume riding.
