To provide more jackpot opportunities, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) will increase the deduction rate for the Six Up Operator Reserve (taken from the Club’s revenue) from 0.5% to 2% starting from the race meeting on 3 April 2024.

The Club set up the Six Up Operator Reserve last year and provided extra Six Up jackpot opportunities, which were welcomed by the race-goers. Going forward, the Club will deduct 2% of the pool turnover from the Club’s revenue after the dividend payout, and this amount will be allocated to the Operator Reserve to top up jackpots for the Six Up pool at specific race meetings.
