Norwegian 5yo who has had a good season so far and second in German G3 latest was a fine effort but way short of what is required today. A stout stayer, though, who might sneak into a place when others start to tire.

Cold Heart

Brazilian import and a regular in World Pool races. No win in Germany and underwhelming latest. An outsider.

Junko

Took this very race two years ago and went on to land a G1 in Hong Kong. No win in 2025 but a close second in a German G1. Top connections and must be respected.

Rashford

Apple of his trainer´s eye, and sprang quite a surprise under today´s English jockey at Baden- Baden latest. More needed here again.

Tiffany

A classy 5yo mare who was second in this last year, and second on her latest start in German G1 in September, her seasonal debut. Connections still search for that elusive G1 success and good chance of doing that here if all is well.

Bay City Roller

The world seemed his oyster after an unbeaten juvenile campaign. But hasn’t won this year though three times a runner-up at G2 level and only narrowly beaten by subsequent Arc winner Daryz early in the year. Renews rivalry with Convergent but couldn’t cope with him last time.

Convergent

Three-year-old who was beaten a short head in German Derby and a two-time winner at Group level, in Ireland and France since. Best on ratings and big chance.

Lazio

A 3yo who was a fine 3rd in the German Derby. Third in Munich G1 in July when that shorter trip didn’t appear ideal. He has each-way claims.
