1 Cleveland Has 3 wins up to 3749m so will appreciate the step up in distance after last start 6th over 2500m at Moonee Valley.
2 Trav Won G2 Auckland Cup (3200m) at Ellerslie in March but has struggled in 2 Australian starts. Can improve.
3 Don Diego De Vega Honest 6th in G3 ATC St Leger Stakes (2600m) at Randwick on 18 October before brave 4th G3 Bendigo Cup (2400m) on 29 October. Chance.
4 Thedoctoroflove G2 winner over 2100m in New Zealand in February but yet to show best form in Australia with last start 12th in G3 over 2000m at Caulfield.
5 Cadmus Talented galloper and capable of winning this on his best form. Slowly building fitness and one of the chances here.
6 Diwali Impressive Listed winner over 3200m at Sandown in June and approaching peak fitness now. One of the leading hopes.
7 Fernao Placed over this course and distance in May but needs to improvement on recent showings, including last of 8 in G3 Geelong Cup (2400m) on 23 October.
8 Arugamama Tough stayer proven up to 2500m and bolted in last start at Morphettville on 25 October, scoring by 6.3L. In top form.
9 Litzdeel G3 winner over 2500m at Morphettville in May and now at top fitness after narrow last start 2nd over 2400m at Caulfield.
10 Golden Century Has thrived since arriving in Australia and form this preparation has been good with 2 wins from recent 3 starts. One of the main hopes.
11 Raging Bull Followed 3rd in a 2200m at Hamilton with impressive 3rd in G3 Bendigo Cup (2400m) on 29 October. Racing well.
12 Argentum Former German stayer who has won up to 2200m but has not won since May 2024 and yet to fire in 2 Australian starts.
13 Farag Won Australia’s longest flat race the Jericho Cup over 4600m in December and appreciates rain-affected conditions.
14 Ferago Veteran who has 7 wins and 13 placings from 52 starts. Definite hope on last start 4th to Torranzino in G3 Geelong Cup (2400m) on 23 October.
15 Haaland In excellent form with 2 wins and 3 placings from past 5 starts. Bidding to make it 3 in a row after Geelong 2400m win on 22 October.
16 Cable Dancer Proven up to 2400m and is now at peak fitness after 3 runs. Tough competitor who is never far away. Consider.
17 Karburan Former French galloper who is building towards another win following 3 successive placings, including last start 2nd at Geelong over 2400m on 22 October.
18 Captain Electric Best form is on rain-affected ground with 3 career wins coming in heavy or soft going. One of the hopes if the conditions suit.

19 Sir Rockford Won over 2046m at Seymour in September and made ground last start when 4th of 12 at Sale over 2200m. This is harder.
