1200m – Turf

1

Ardisia

Busy, having already had ten starts. Thrives on racing as facts and figures suggest he is improving, gaining his fifth win – in Listed company – this month. Any ground suits.

2

Division

Makes a quick reappearance, having quickened away from his 12 rivals in a Listed event at York last weekend, his third straight win. He might take yet another step forward here.

3

Egoli

Twice a winner in the summer but has found things harder since tackling Group company on his last three starts. Not beaten far at Kempton last month. Needs more.

4

Gentle George

Rises in grade but has won his last two starts, latterly showing a fighting spirit to beat a better fancied rival in a 1200m Haydock novices’ event, with the first pair well clear.

5

Kamakameleon

Gained a maiden victory on his second start but has mostly struggled under a succession of different riders since. Very likely to struggle again.

6

Kansas

Running to a consistent and pretty high level including a not-beaten-far fifth in a Newmarket G1. One to consider over an ideal trip.

7

Mission Central

Having led throughout in a G3 at the Curragh, he started favourite for a G2 at Doncaster but lacked the required speed over the minimum trip. Better hopes back at 1200m.

8

Sir Albert

A three times winner with his last two coming at 1400m in handicaps at Chester and Goodwood. Then only just behind a later G3 winner in Doncaster Listed company.

9

Siren Suit

Returning from a break and raised to 1400m for his third and latest start he had little difficulty beating eight rivals after leading throughout on the all-weather at Kempton.

10

Super Soldier

Stable having a terrific season but this colt has had mixed fortunes – some good, some not good efforts. At his best when only just failing to win a soft-ground G2 at Chantilly.

11

Watcha Snoop

Trainer thought this their best 2yo early on and he led throughout to win a soft ground 1200m novices’ event at Ascot. But he has had a few problems and now been gelded.

12

Words Of Truth

One of the main players here surely, winning his last three starts notably when quickening decisively to defeat seven rivals in a 1200m G2 at Newbury last month.

13

Slay Queen

Won at Newbury and then in a heavy-ground Goodwood handicap before last at Doncaster after racing much too freely.
