HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will broadcast a total of 12 overseas races in Hong Kong on Saturday, 11 October, including seven races of Might And Power (Caulfield Stakes) Day from Caulfield Racecourse, Australia and five races of Dewhurst Stakes Day from Newmarket Racecourse in Great Britain. Bets will be accepted* for these races.
World Pool will be offered in Might And Power (Caulfield Stakes) Day and Dewhurst Stakes Day to ensure maximum liquidity for racing fans. For Might And Power (Caulfield Stakes) Day, World Pool will be available on Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place and Tierce. For Dewhurst Stakes Day, World Pool will be available on Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place, Forecast, Tierce and Treble.
Under World Pool branding as one of the betting partners of Might And Power (Caulfield Stakes) Day, the HKJC has naming right for one race – HKJC World Pool Northwood Plume Stakes (S1-7).
To enhance customers’ digital service experience, the Club has introduced arrow markers in the “Last Race Replay” videos for runners in overseas key races. These markers are designed to help customers track the performance of their selected horses. Visit the “Racing Info (Simulcast)” webpage to download the “Form Guide” and view the “Last Race Replay” videos in the past performance section for each horse.
Race times and betting pools
The simulcast races of Might And Power (Caulfield Stakes) Day are scheduled as S1-1 to S1-7, and are due to start at 11:00 am on 11 October, while the simulcast races of Dewhurst Stakes Day, which are scheduled as S2-1 to S2-5, are due to start at 8:15 pm in the same evening. “S1” or “S2” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Digital Channels** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box” or “S2 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Digital Channels** interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.
If “S1” or “S2” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.
