The Stewards have interviewed Mr D Eustace, the trainer of LIGHT YEARS CHARM, regarding his application to remove the Crossed Nose Band from the gear to be worn by that horse in the stated race. LIGHT YEARS CHARM was successful in its previous race start over the course and distance when wearing Crossed Nose Band and Ring Bit.

Mr Eustace explained that LIGHT YEARS CHARMS’s racing manners have improved since its last start; he had removed Crossed Nose Band from the horse in its trials on 1 September 2025 and 16 September 2025 and he is satisfied with the horse’s racing manners after the removal of this piece of equipment. The Stewards have acceded to this request and the horse will carry only a Ring Bit in the stated race.
