Listed – 1400m – Turf

1

Brownstown

A course and distance winner on soft ground on her racecourse debut, drops down in class after two failed attempts in group company.

2

Caught U Sleeping

Looks worth every cent of her modest 31,000 euros price after an encouraging win at the first attempt, staying on well in closing stages over 1400m at Naas three weeks ago.

3

Diamond Necklace

1.7 million euros as a yearling when making a winning debut over this 1400m trip at the Curragh last month. Connections believe she is G1 material. The one to beat.

4

Inbox

This newcomer pleased in a barrier trial last month, coming out on top of 14 runners over this 1400m. Her half-brother picked up a 1200m handicap in France in August.

5

Kensington Lane

Clicked at the fifth attempt, gaining reward for some decent efforts when racing prominently and quickening up smartly in the closing stages for a wide margin win on 2 Sept.

6

Killashee Warrior

Cost 34,000 euros as a yearling. Started at long odds on for first start over course and distance, plugging on close home to take 3L fourth.

7

Mighty Danu

Swooped late to make a winning start to her career, getting home by a neck at Galway last month in rain-softened ground.

8

Red Autumn

Was doing all her best work at the end when second on latest start in soft ground. Won on second outing but failed to make much of an impression when last of fifth over course and distance on penultimate outing.

9

Sukanya

English raider. Won on her debut on fast ground over 1200m, drops down in class after two attempts in G3 company.

10

Teewinot

Progressing nicely, finishing runner-up on second outing then losing her maiden tag over 1400m at Lingfield last month when long odds-on favourite.

11

Venosa

American bred. Holds G1 entries this autumn. Raced up with the leaders before running out of steam on her debut. Signs of progress when sixth on next outing.
