G1 – 1400m – Turf
| Maranoa Charlie | A course and distance winner on seasonal reappearance, displaying a high cruising speed. Followed up landing a G3. One of strongest home-trained hopes. |
| Shadow Of Light | Europe’s champion two-year-old last year. Third in 2000 Guineas. Fifth when favourite in hot G1 at Royal Ascot over shorter. Big chance. |
| Cosmic Year | Strong claims after taking second to the brilliant Field Of Gold in the Irish 2000 Guineas. A three-time winner previously over this 1400m trip. |
| The Lion In Winter | A late supplementary entry on Thursday, the one-time Derby Stakes ante-post favourite drops back in distance after failing to fire when 14th in the Epsom classic. |
| Woodshauna | Third over course and distance in April. Built on that to land a G3 at Chantilly. First attempt at this level. |
| Cacofonix | Big step up in class. Booked his ticket when justifying favouritism in a Class 2 race over the trip in May. |
| Silius | Race fit but well held when second over course and distance in April. Subsequently filled runner-up spot again in a G3. |
| Daylight | Talented filly. Twice placed at G1 level last season. On the comeback trail after only seventh in the French 1000 Guineas. |
| Apollo Fountain | Supplemented. Unless she has found wings on the Chantilly gallops her main role could be to ensure the race is run to suit Cosmic Year, with both owned by Juddmonte. |
