1400m – Dirt

Cerejeira Moving up in class after breaking maiden over Chukyo 1200m. Had one start over Kyoto 1400m in maiden class but was 5.3L behind winner indicating speed may not be competitive here.
Don To The Moon Returning after nearly 7 months. Finished 11th over Tokyo 1400m last November. Interim work unknown, but time likely not competitive. Wild card.
Dragon Returning from 6th at Meydan in the G2 UAE Derby in early April. Shortest distance yet but ran fifth in Tokyo 1600m in late February. Inexperienced at this distance but dropping down in class and speed likely to be very competitive.
G T Engine Moved up in class with win on NAR circuit. Finished a fair sixth in early May over Tokyo 1400m but was helped by slightly heavy track. Has early speed but likely not competitive given forecast for clear skies.
Mars Odyssey Has one start on dirt, a second over Tokyo 1400m in early May. Other starts this year have been on turf and disappointing. Return to dirt holds promise.
Merci Je T’Aime Only second start of career. Won over Tokyo 1400m in late February but time only average. This field likely to have higher caliber runners but will have weight advantage.
Peach Macaron This filly has best sixth in five starts at this level with poor results recently. First time at Tokyo but speed likely not competitive here.
Perceive Is 5-5-7 at this level, two over Tokyo 1400m. Smooth break for first time in most recent start. Speed a bit lacking.
Rhatische American-born colt ran three times at this level and this distance, including a second and a third at Tokyo. Speed decent. Can handle any going. Promising.
Smile D C The filly won over this course and distance in Feb. after three other tries on grass and various distances. May have found sweet spot but speed may not be competitive.
Trillion Boy Posted a third over Tokyo 1400m on 17 May. Speed competitive. Chronically late at break. Could win if start improves.
