| Clochette Noel | Honest runner last out posted best finish (2nd) in five starts at this level. Slow to pick up speed, first time over anything longer than 2000m. Should suit. Has good late kick and could surprise. |
| Culminale | Kansai-based with 2-2 at this level, with best fourth over 2400m in only start at Tokyo. Strong pace in last two starts has worked in favor. Ample chance if trip suits. |
| Danon Whitney | Filly shot to this level in five starts, all finishes in the money. Posted fourth last out over Tokyo 2400m in first start at 2-win level. Can race at good speed at length. Improvement expected. Competitive and will have weight advantage. |
| Dual Wielder | Last year’s G2 Aoba Sho third-place finisher passed on 2024 Japanese Derby due to leg concerns and was sidelined for over a year. Returned to win over Tokyo 2000m on 3 May. Other three starts brought 3-1-3 in 1800m-2400m range. Excellent speed. |
| Geocentric | Promising, versatile colt. Posted 2-4 at this level after winning first 2 career starts. Only raced over 2000m but extra distance a likely plus. Bit slow to rev and late changing leads. Looking good in work. |
| Iklil | Moving up in class after scoring two wins at one-win level, first over Tokyo 2400m, then Nakayama 2500m last time on 23 March. Tends to lead or race prominently. Speed may not be competitive here. |
| Jun Tsubamegaeshi | Displayed excellent late speed and a strong finish in second over Tokyo 2400m in early May. Distance, venue suit. Seventh start at this level could prove lucky. |
| Laurel Canyon | Ran second in first start at this level 5 starts ago with mediocre results afterward. Huge horse who has finished 2-7-5 at Tokyo in 2300m-2400m range. Likely not competitive here but worth a longshot wager. |
| Nishino Levante | Only made board once in past 12 starts, which included turf, dirt and two jump races. Likely not competitive here. |
| Noble Cry | Finished 2.3L off winner over Tokyo 2400m in early May. Only one fourth in last five starts but could be competitive if trip suits. Worth a wager. |
| Prismagico | Raced from 1600m to 2000m since debut, first time at 2400m. First time at Tokyo but has run second at left-handed Chukyo. Nice times in work. Likely needs a bit more to be competitive here. |
| Tropical Light | Consistent stayer has made board in last five starts at this level. Finished best second in most recent start, 22 Feb at Kokura. Ran well over Tokyo 2400m. Will have weight advantage. Worth a wager. |
| Tyler Tesoro | Eight starts at this level, only finished fourth once. Overall speed lacking. Likely not competitive here. |
| Weiser Barco | Started in NAR circuit, moved to JAR. Moving up in class after win over Fukushima 2600m. Has fifth over Tokyo 2400m. Stamina good, but may not measure up against stiff competition. |
