Simulcast and betting arrangements for Doomben Cup Day and Irish 2000 Guineas Day
HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast a total of 12 overseas races in Hong Kong on Saturday, 24 May, including three races of Doomben Cup Day from Doomben Racecourse in Australia and nine races of Irish 2000 Guineas Day from Curragh Racecourse in Ireland. Bets will be accepted* for these races.
World Pool will be offered in both meetings to ensure maximum liquidity for racing fans. For races of Doomben Cup Day, World Pool will be available on Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place and Tierce. For races of Irish 2000 Guineas Day, World Pool will be available on Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place, Forecast, Tierce and Treble.
Under World Pool branding as one of the betting partners of the of Doomben Cup Day, the HKJC has naming rights for one race of the meeting, namely HKJC World Pool BRC Sprint (S1-3).
Race times and betting pools
The simulcast races of Doomben Cup Day are scheduled as S1-1 to S1-3, and are due to start at 1:17 pm on 24 May. The simulcast races of Irish 2000 Guineas Day are scheduled as S2-1 to S2-9, and are due to start at 8:20 pm on the same evening. Details of the post time and betting pools are:

Broadcast arrangements
Simulcast races will be broadcast on TV and radio. Customers can also review the overseas races at www.racing.hkjc.com/ one hour after each race has finished.

“S1” or “S2” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Digital Channels** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box” or “S2 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Digital Channels** interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.
If “S1” or “S2” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.
Odds and starter information for overseas races
The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available at all OCBBs# and via Digital Channels**.
Ticket sales arrangement for the overseas races
Tickets for Doomben Cup Day and Irish 2000 Guineas Day will be available for sale from 12:00 noon on Friday, 23 May. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)
