G1 – 1600m – Turf

Christmas Parade Landed her first group race win in the G2 Shion Stakes (2000m) with a track record in September 2024.  0.8L third in the G3 Nakayama Himba Stakes (1800m) last time.  Likely settles better in a mile race.
Stellenbosch Had a stellar 3-year-old campaign, winning the G1 Oka Sho (1600m), 2nd in the G1 Japanese Oaks (2400m), 3rd in the G1 Shuka Sho (2000m) and 3rd in the G1 Hong Kong Vase (2400m).  After suffering her first major defeat when finishing 13th in the G1 Osaka Hai (2000m) last time, she has shown her significant improvement, appearing her peak condition now.
Argine Has finished in the top two in her last two 1600m graded races, adapting to the distance. The stable connections expressed confidence in her preparation and condition.
Safira From a distinguished pedigree with a full brother and G1 winner Salios and a G1 runner-up Salacia.  Posted 3rd, 1st, 3rd and 1st in her last four starts.  Her physical development has brought the recent progress.
Ravel Returned to the winner’s circle for the first time since October 2022 in the G3 Challenge Cup (2000m) in November 2024.  Showed little in recent two starts.  While essentially better suited to the middle distance, she should be more competitive even over the distance in the restricted fillies/mares race.
Mi Anhelo The 2024 G3 Flower Cup (1800m) winner finished 2.5L 8th in the G3 Nakayama Himba Stakes (1800m) last time.  Tokyo suits her.
Wide Latour She was able to sustain a strong finishing kick and won the G3 Aichi Hai (1400m) last time.  While 1400m might be her optimal distance, she looks capable of handling a mile in her current form.
Shinryokuka Won her first group race in the G3 Niigata Kinen (2000m), followed by 3L 4th in the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup (2200m) in November 2024.
Admire Matsuri Showed consistency with five wins and three seconds in nine career runs.  Showed remarkable turn of foot for her first group race success last time.  Will compete for the first time in the highest class and the distance.
Bond Girl Has only one career win, she has finished second in five graded stakes races, including a G1. In her most recent race, the G2 Hanshin Himba Stakes (1600m), due to her poor draw she was unable to justify her favoritism and finished fifth.
Sing That Song Has not tasted any success since G2 in March 2023.  Showed a good turn of foot and finished 1.5L 2nd in the G3 Aichi Hai (1400m) in March last time.
Shirankedo Claimed her first graded races success for her three wins in a row in the G3 Nakayama Himba Stakes (1800m) last time.  Excluding her debut, she has never finished out of the money.  Now well accustomed to sitting back and finishing strongly, she has a good chance here.
Beyond the Valley Rounded off last term with a runner-up at G3 (1600m) in December.  Finished 1L 4th in the G3 Nakayama Himba Stakes (1800m) and 0.8L 4th in the G2 Hanshin Himba Stakes (1600m) respectively this term.
Masano Canaria Since last July, she has won four times over 1200m and 1400m.  According to the trainer Kenta Fujino, she has recently filled out physically and her performance has improved as a result.
So Dazzling Considering her first start since transferring to the current stable and still figuring things out, the 6th-place in the G2 Hanshin Himba Stakes (1600m) last time was not a bad effort.
Queen’s Walk Winner of the G3 Queen Cup over this course and distance in 2024.  Consistently performed well on the left-handed course and the spacious Tokyo will help her handle the mile distance again even after the break.  The G2 Kinko Sho (2000m) winner last time.
Ascoli Piceno Won her first overseas graded victory in Saudi Arabia in her last race, demonstrating tenacity from a prominent position. Originally known for her strong finishing kick, she seems well-suited to Tokyo, as evidenced by her second-place finish in the G1 NHK Mile Cup at three. Key contender.
Alice Verite First start on dirt and ran a good 4th in the G1 Breeders’ Cup Distaff (1800m) at Del Mar in November. From disappointing 16th at G3 (2000m) in January, she showed her progress in the G3 Fukushima Himba Stakes (1800m) when 4th last time.  The spacious Tokyo likely suits her.
