2006m – Turf
1 | Nebras | Looks a live player here. Twice a good second this year, latterly when elevated to Listed company over 2000m at Newmarket this month. More progress very likely. |
2 | Genealogy | This big colt defied inexperience to outclass his rivals at Punchestown before racing too keenly in a G3 at Newmarket. Better expected this year and holds an Irish Classic entry. |
3 | Saddadd | Good shows on all three starts, probably doing best raised to this distance and on to the turf for the first time when second of nine here last month. Handicapping now. |
4 | Ernst Blofeld | Three decent starts out of three so far, even if lacking the required pace in the closing stages of a Listed event at Newmarket this month. The stable won this in 2022. |
5 | Quai De Bethune | The comfortable winner of a 1600m Kempton maiden in January, though hasn’t shown obvious progression in two starts since. Back on turf which he is certainly bred for. |
6 | Law Of Design | A soft-ground winner at Ascot on his second career start. Perhaps there were excuses for a dismal display in Newmarket Listed company on his 2025 return. |
7 | Wave Rider | Encouragement gained from all three runs and, challenging from further back than ideal, only just failed to win at Wolverhampton in April. Bred to thrive at this longer trip. |
8 | Circus Of Rome | Led nearly throughout to win at Wolverhampton in March. An awkward start didn’t help on his handicap debut at Sandown last month, and he is capable of better. |
9 | Asmen Warrior | First start in a handicap, most recently having run a close second in a Leicester maiden event. That looked quite a strong race of its type. |
10 | Lightening Mann | Improved and with a consistent profile since being gelded. Always prominent and fighting hard at the end to win a 2000m Newmarket handicap this month. |
