Listed – 1200m – Turf
| Andesite | Made a winning career debut at York last year. Didn’t help himself or his rider by pulling way too hard on his 2025 debut before finishing fourth at Chelmsford. |
| Berkshire Whisper | Chances if he enjoys the grass, following increasingly strong performances on the all-weather, winning his last three starts latterly in a valuable event at Newcastle. |
| Caburn | Led very late on to bag a valuable 19-runner ‘Sales’ race here at Newbury last July but modest on his final 2024 run, and encounters lots of race-hardened rivals on this return. |
| Defence Minister | Looked fast when winning his first two races in 2024. Then elevated to G1 company but unable to make an impact after racing too keenly. A rewarding 2025 looks likely. |
| Ides Of March | Twice a winner last year including a 1200m G3 at the Curragh. Quickened on ground though too soft when a close second in Listed company at Navan in April. Chance. |
| Noble Champion | Drops to this trip for the first time, running a fair third over 1600m at Goodwood last time. An expensive purchase but may not be quite quick enough for this. |
| Righthere Rightnow | Appears to have an extremely difficult task. Led for some of the trip but, after racing too freely, faded right out at Newmarket last month. |
| Strong Warrior | Unbeaten in two starts, at Ayr last year and Pontefract over this trip last month. He led throughout latterly but had to fight hard to hold on in a much weaker race than this. |
| Symbol Of Honour | Won both starts – over this trip – at Meydan earlier this year. Tried 1400m at Newmarket when back in the UK last month but proved disappointing in the closing stages. |
| Hold A Dream | All positive shows in 2024, and more of the same when looking to have progressed from her winter’s break when only beaten a neck in a Listed event at Chelmsford this month. |
| Sayidah Dariyan | Had clearly done well from two to three, sitting close to the pace before accelerating to gain an impressive victory over this trip at Chelmsford last month. |
