The Stewards have approved an application submitted by Mr J Size, the trainer of last start winner BUNDLE AWARD, to remove the Ring Tongue Bit and add a Norton Bit to the gear carried by that horse in the stated race.

The Stewards interviewed Mr Size who advised that with BUNDLE AWARD stepping up in distance to 1600 Metres for the first time in Hong Kong, he applied a Norton Bit to the horse in its trial on 7 February 2025 and he is satisfied that the addition of this piece of equipment will assist the horse settling better over a longer distance. The Stewards have acceded to this request and the horse will carry Ear Plugs and Norton Bit in the stated race.
