Abandonment of Races 7 to 9 at tonight’s Happy Valley race meeting
Following the Hong Kong Observatory’s announcement of issuing Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 at 11:10pm, The Hong Kong Jockey Club has decided to abandon the running of the remaining Races 7, 8 and 9 at tonight’s (Wednesday, 13 November) Happy Valley race meeting to ensure the safety of horsemen, Members, racecourse and Off-Course Betting Branch customers.
According to the Horse Race Betting Rules, the following pool arrangements have been made:

· All bets on Jockey Challenge/ Trainer Challenge will be refunded. |
All Up dividends of various pools will be paid for tickets bearing winning selections of the previous legs. |

Cash betting
All cash bets will be refunded on presentation of tickets at any Off-course Betting Branch (OCBB) or at the racecourses during opening hours within 60 days from 13 November 2024.
Betting via Telebet and Interactive Services
All bets placed through Telebet and Interactive Services will be refunded directly to the respective betting accounts.
On-course facilities
Patrons who have booked the facilities with credit cards will have payment refunded to their credit card accounts. Those who purchased tickets with cash can obtain their refunds by presenting the receipts or admission tickets at the racecourses or any OCBB within 14 days from today during opening hours.
