This year marks the 140th anniversary of The Hong Kong Jockey Club. To kick off the “With You. Then. Now. Always” campaign, we are inviting you to celebrate at Sha Tin Racecourse with us on Sunday (20 October). A Triple Trio jackpot at the meeting will be topped up with HK$8 million with the dividend estimated to reach HK$13 million if there is only one single HK$10 winning unit. Moreover, entrants to both Sha Tin and Happy Valley Racecourses before 3.30pm will receive a designated 140th Anniversary Ballpoint Pen, while stocks last.

Triple Trio Selling hours
All betting pools for Sunday’s race meeting will go on sale from 12:00 noon tomorrow (19 October). Bets can be placed via Off-Course Betting Branches#, Telebet and through Digital Channels*. Triple Trio betting is available for Races 4, 5 and 6 on 20 October. The selling time for the Triple Trio will stop just before Race 4.

On Sunday, admission to Sha Tin and Happy Valley commences at 10.45am for the 10-race fixture, while the first race kicks off at 12.45pm. Highlights of the day include the Class 2 HKJC 140th Anniversary Cup Handicap (1600m) as Race 5 and the G2 Premier Bowl Handicap (1200m) as Race 7. The Premier Bowl brings together a collection of the city’s elite sprinters, including California Spangle, Ka Ying Rising and Invincible Sage, adding to the excitement of the race.

Racegoers can also look forward to a line-up of catering offers and engaging on-course entertainment activities at Sha Tin. Highlights include:

–   Ten selected local dishes are available for only HK$10^ at Sha Tin, available while stock lasts
–   Popular music band ‘Pandora’ will perform live at Sha Tin to pump up the crowd
–   Racegoers create their very own AI-generated avatar for a personalised “Thank You” card at the on-site kiosks

There is also a Sha Tin Racecourse Delights quiz to win prizes on the 140th Anniversary Raceday, with additional winning spots opened to celebrate the Anniversary.
