HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast a total of 12 overseas races in Hong Kong on Saturday, 19 October, including five races of King Charles III Stakes Day from Randwick Racecourse and the Caulfield Cup from Caulfield Racecourse in Australia, along with six races of British Champions Day from Ascot Racecourse in Great Britain. Bets will be accepted* for these races.
A jackpot of $1 million will be offered for the Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool of Caulfield Cup (S2-1).
For races of King Charles III Stakes Day and Caulfield Cup, World Pool will be offered (Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place and Tierce) to ensure maximum liquidity for racing fans. World Pool will also be offered for British Champions Day (Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place, Forecast, Tierce and Treble). Under World Pool branding as one of the betting partners of King Charles III Stakes Day, the HKJC has naming rights for one race of the meeting, namely World Pool Handicap (S1-5).
Race times and betting pools
The simulcast races of King Charles III Stakes Day are scheduled as S1-1 to S1-5, and are due to start at 12:25 pm on 19 October. The simulcast race of Caulfield Cup is scheduled as S2-1 and is due to start at 2:15 pm in same afternoon. The simulcast races of British Champions Day are scheduled as S3-1 to S3-6, and are due to start at 8:20 pm on the same evening. Details of the post time and betting pools are:

“S1”, “S2” or “S3” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Digital Channels** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box”, “S2 box” ” or “S3 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Digital Channels** interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.
If “S1 box”, “S2 box” or “S3 box” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

Ticket sales arrangement for the overseas races
Tickets for King Charles III Stakes Day will be available for sale from 12:00 noon on Friday, 18 October. Tickets for Caulfield Cup Day will be available for sale 8:30 am on Saturday, 19 October. Tickets for British Champions Day will be available for sale from 3:45 pm in same afternoon. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)
