Performed consistently this year, placed three times and on the board all but two times in her seven starts from 2000m to 2600m. Got good results when raced right-handed. Raced at Nakayama once only on debut. Not the best speed, but likely competitive here.

Brave Arrow

Has made the board in half of six starts since returning to JRA circuit, but has yet to make top three. Switched to dirt with little change, now back to turf. Needs just a bit more, could get lucky.

Cliffhanger

Slow start in career, consistently made the top three in last four starts. Returning to Nakayama 2200m, where broke maiden three starts ago. Competitive and promising here.

Conferma

4-2-1 from his short career of only three starts. Win at Niigata in July, races at Nakayama first time but got right-handed experience. Speed may not be competitive here, but can lead and may get close with a good draw.

Crisp Breeze

Thirteen starts since last win and only finished on the board once. Extending to 2200m but not likely to bring better result. Likely not a contender here.

Cutie Chrome

This filly raced three times only since debut in March. Broke maiden over yielding ground at Nakayama 2000m in April. Break for over two months after poor effort. Speed likely not up to par amid this field.

K Two Kroon

Returning after two months off. Surprised with 2-3 at Fukushima this summer. One start at Nakayama before with poor result but recent form could bring surprise.

Longing Time

Started career on JRA circuit but moved to NAR. Now back for first start at JRA after won four times in five starts on the local circuit, mostly over dirt mile. Likely not competitive here.

Meiner Aegis

Initially raced on JRA circuit, then moved to NAR at the beginning of 2023. Now back to JRA and last out managed a fourth over Niigata 2200m despite late break. Likely not competitive amid this lineup.

Photon Blue

Big gelding whose only previous experience at Nakayama was a fifth in G2 Yayoi Sho last year. Raced primarily over 2000m with inconsistent results. Is versatile in running style and could get lucky with good ride. Decent speed but extra distance not likely a plus.

Real Center

Versatile filly showed renewed promise two weeks ago over Nakayama 2000m in first start since breaking maiden. Has chance here.

Red Teleos

This colt has shown promise, good kick, finishing second in last two starts, both at 2000m. Extra furlong should suit his stayer build. Promising.

Sieg Krone

Has done poorly since moving to this class, with best two sixth. Returning after three and a half months break for first time on Nakayama turf. Likely not competitive here.

Snow Desire

Chronically late out of the gate, mare has slumped through most of last nine starts. Did show a bit of spark last out in a Nakayama 2000m, but times likely not competitive here.

Tana San Black

Miho-based colt won on debut over Nakayama 2200m but has been inconsistent since, only two seconds in the following six starts from 2000m to 2600m. Last start at 1600m likely a sharpener. Returning to Nakayama could spark better results.

Trident Spear

Big Daiwa Major colt has a 4-1-2 career record, with distances ranging from 1800m to 2000m, all left-handed. Excellent late speed but chronically late away, so extra distance a likely plus. Promising.

White Beach

Consistent colt has made the top three places four times, the board every time in seven JRA starts this year. Has shown good late speed here last out early this month over 2000m in first race at Nakayama. Speed good. Extra furlong may do the trick.
