Raised his game significantly when quickening clear of his four rivals in a 1400m G3 at Deauville last month.

Henri Matisse

Sure to start favourite. Unbeaten in three starts, two of them at G2 level here. Has taken time to hit top gear but powerful once he does.

Hill Road

Looked inexperienced but quickened decisively once he got the message when winning a 1600m Leopardstown maiden.

Rock Of Cashel

Led throughout to win a 1400m Galway maiden but could not repeat those tactics when raised to G2 standard here, leading again but fading.

Scorthy Champ

A maiden winner over around this trip on his debut. Detached early but finished well into third behind Henri Matisse here last month. May need further.

Progressed from his first two starts to finish second to an unbeaten rival in a 1400m Newmarket G2 in July. A bit more probably needed.

Made favourite to win a 1600m Salisbury Listed prize on his third start but disappointed though he did lose a shoe in that race.
