Is a tad off form and faces a stiff task here. His stable is in mustard form but others are far preferred for the win. Outsider.

Caught the eye last time when a close up second. His maiden win was impressive and could finish in the first four. He has a cozy draw and must be taken seriously.

Is lightly raced, recently won his maiden in fine style and could be absolutely anything. Hard to assess how he will run here but he needs respect.

Boasts strong, useful form and comes from a top yard. His last run was good, his earlier wins impressive and he has a bright winning chance. Include in everything.

Is showing huge talent and potential. He absolutely thrashed the opposition last time and can certainly record back-to-back victories. The Tarry yard hold a strong hand in this race.

Won last two start in the manner of a talented horse. He has an undeniable chance of reeling off the hat trick and can be followed throughout his career. Big chance.

Does have a wide draw to overcome but gets the services of very capable Piere Strydom for the first time. He needs to build on his last run. Include in quartet perms.

Skated clear of the opposition last time when winning well and can follow up. He does have a high draw to negotiate but based on his last win and overall form, has to be respected.

Could be the stable elect as this is the one that Richard Fourie has elected to side with. He has solid overall form and has obvious strong winning claims. A must for all bets.

Is definitely way better than his last run suggests. Ignore that effort, his two wins before that, were ultra-impressive. Despite his high draw, he can bounce back and go very close to winning.

Reserves

Is the first reserve but if getting into the race would have a chance. He is lightly raced and has shown talent thus far. Include in trifectas and quartets.

Likely outsider if getting in to the race. His last two runs have been below par and he will need to improve a lot off those efforts to feature here.

Won a gutsy race last time but against much weaker. Need to really raise his game for the win. Prefer others.
