Denied a clear run when sixth at Epsom last time, the Ripon winner is very much on a redeeming mission. Hails from a British yard with a good record in France.

Tiego The First

Slightly disappointing when beaten favourite (third) over 1200m at Chantilly. However, he was running on at the finish and extra 200m should suit.

Winning debut when raced prominently at first time of asking over 1400m at Saint-Cloud. Won in good style and looked to have plenty in reserve.

Madero

Plenty to like about winning debut (second has won since) over 1200m at Saint-Cloud in May. He found an extra gear that day and the extra 200m looks well within his compass.

Showed a very willing attitude to reel-in the favourite over 1200m at Saint-Cloud last time, and clearly crying out for a longer trip such as this.

The British filly followed up fair debut effort (fourth) on the all-weather with second in a seller at Chester, but unlikely to prove good enough on that evidence.
