It looked a big ask in a 1600m G1 Newmarket Classic on her third start, but despite getting unbalanced late on, gained a narrow success. She looks strong on stamina.

Folgaria

A dominant and unbeaten 2yo in Italy, kicking off her UK career with a 1400m Newbury G3 victory. But struggled in a 1600m G1 Longchamp Classic last month.

Opera Singer

Closed down 2023 when bossing from the front for a superb 1600m G1 victory at Longchamp. Got tired late on in a G1 Classic at the Curragh, but may be razor sharp now.

Porta Fortuna

A super 2yo career included a 1200m G1 Newmarket victory. Proved her 3yo credentials when only just losing out in a 1600m G1 Newmarket Classic. A courageous filly.

Ramatuelle

This classy filly was a G3 and G2 winner over 1200m in 2023. Up to this trip for a Newmarket G1 Classic, she was kicked into a lead perhaps too early and was run down late on.

Rouhiya

Upgraded significantly on previous achievements when her strong finish grabbed her victory in a 1600m G1 Classic at Longchamp last month. Slow ground is a big help.

Placed in a G2 and then a Newmarket G1 – both at this trip – on her last two 2023 starts. But faded fast on her 2024 return in a G1 Newmarket Classic so questions to answer.

Plenty of encouragement from her three-race 2yo starts, all at around 1400m. Had a rough passage when eighth in a 1600m G1 Irish Classic at the Curragh last month.
