1600m – Turf

1

Kitty Rose

Beaten a head by the future G1 Irish 1000 Guineas second in G3 company last time, and clearly entitled to consideration despite her big weight.

2

Everlasting

Didn’t make the grade in the G1 Irish 1000 Guineas (11th) but has plenty of ability and back on track after last time out Listed win.

3

Julica

This French filly boasts respectable showings in G3 Prix de la Grotte (sixth) and Listed grade (fourth) but no easy task at the weights.

4

Soprano

Has a touch of class and not firing on all cylinders this season, but not discounted on handicap debut.

5

Asian Daze

The filly had busy time of it since May (three runs), but is holding her form well and she ran a smart customer close in Listed grade last time.

6

Forever Blue

Low mileage (three runs) and likely improver on the back of her Haydock reappearance win. Each way prospects.

7

Hard To Resist

Not disgraced in group company on both sides of the Channel last season. Yet to race this term but could have more to offer this season.

8

Zenjabeela

Useful sort last season (two wins) and connections are clearly prepared to forgive her poor reappearance run when last at York.

9

Fair Angellica

Equally adept on turf and the all-weather, she has done very little wrong to date (four wins from five starts) and fully entitled to take her chance here.

10

Flight Of Fancy

This classy maiden was collared close home in a decent handicap at the Curragh. The third has run well since and so not without a chance.

11

Rochelle

Has done little wrong to date and she was a fair fourth in Listed company at Longchamp last time, but others have stronger claims.

12

Without Words

The lightly raced filly, coming off a second at Listowel, has done little wrong. This is her stiffest test to date but there could be more to come.

13

Gushing Gold

Hasn’t built on last season’s promise and two unplaced efforts this term suggests that she is likely to be up against it.

14

Sattwaa

Ran well when second to a G3 winning filly in Listed grade at Dusseldorf in May, but point to prove after disappointing effort (sixth) on return trip to Germany.

15

Uluru

Disqualified on a technicality after finishing second at Killarney but clearly well regarded.

16

Bellarchi

Has been kept very busy this season (two wins from six starts), but she was well beaten (fifth) in Listed grade last time and very much an outsider.

17

Indelible

Lightly raced but improving fast judged on Lingfield and Doncaster wins. Looks to be on a competitive mark and very much a leading contender.

18

Cat Ninja

The form of her Windsor win has been well franked with the second having bolted up since at Newbury.

19

Marcella

Some encouragement to be had when second to a smart prospect at Kempton in April, but not as effective when upped to Listed and group class since.

20

Arisaig

Admirably consistent filly who have two of her three wins on the all-weather. Boasts respectable efforts on turf but more improvement is called for.

21

Nocturnal

Building nicely following successive wins at Lingfield and Wolverhampton. Not one to underestimate.

22

Zaynab

This filly is heading the right way following consecutive wins at the Curragh. Accounted for two smart customers last time and very much on an upward curve.

23

My Margie

Two all-weather wins were the prelude to fair effort in Ascot handicap, but other advance stronger claims.

24

Mrs Morrell

Heading in the right direction following easy win in a minor handicap at Yarmouth but further improvement called for.

25

Viennoise

Opened her account in good style on the all-weather at Lingfield in April, but now needs to take her game to a whole new level.

26

Raknah

The Irish visitor has already successfully tested in British waters (won a handicap at Lingfield in March) before disappointing (seventh) at Southwell. No easy task.

27

Strutting

The Wolverhampton winner hasn’t been getting home (tried over 2398m on penultimate start) over longer trips and may do better for a return to 1600m.

28

D Flawless

Lightly raced and probably has plenty of improvement in her, but she probably isn’t quite there yet judged on her third in a novice race at Goodwood.

29

Battle Queen

Some of form stands close scrutiny having finished second to a future Listed winner at Southwell. Has won since and looks well handicapped.

30

Lou Lou’s Gift

Not disgraced (third) at Kempton last time and likely to improve in time. Possible place claims.

Reserves

31

Shin Jidai

Ran well to be second behind an in-form filly at Kempton, and she may again prove competitive off current handicap mark.

32

Queen Of Atlantis

Was in great form on the all-weather (three wins). She hasn’t proved as effective over 2000 metres on turf since but now returns to her optimum trip.

33

Mercury Day

Made a belated if successful start to the campaign in Nottingham maiden race earlier in this month, but clearly this is a big step up.
