HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast Yasuda Kinen from Tokyo Racecourse in Japan on Sunday, 2 June. It will also simulcast Prix du Jockey Club from Chantilly Racecourse in France on the same evening. Bets will be accepted* for these races.

A jackpot of $1 million will be offered for the Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool of Yasuda Kinen (S3-1).

For Prix du Jockey Club, Win and Place bets will be outbound commingled with the respective pools operated by Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU) of France △, in accordance with the modified horse race betting rules of PMU. Quinella, Quinella Place and other exotic bet pools will still be operated under Hong Kong separate pools. If the bets on outbound commingling pools cannot be included in the PMU pools, the dividends will then be calculated based on the Hong Kong pool only and in accordance with PMU’s calculation formula.

Betting on outbound commingled pools is similar to the way of betting on Hong Kong pools. The odds are calculated according to PMU’s method, that is, the investment is deducted prior to the division of the dividend pool (Photo 1). The odds displayed will change to show the odds of the PMU pools when the Hong Kong investment of the current race has been outbound commingled with PMU, and after the dividends of the preceding race have been confirmed.  The Place odds are the minimum value odds in the range (Photo 2). In other words, the final Place odds could either be the same or higher than the value indicated. Race times and betting pools
The simulcast race of Yasuda Kinen is scheduled as S3-1, and is due to start at 2:40 pm on 2 June. The simulcast race of Prix du Jockey Club is scheduled as S4-1 and is due to start at 10:05 pm on the same evening. Details of the post time and betting pools are as follows:

Broadcast arrangements 
Simulcast races will be broadcast on TV and radio. Customers can also review the overseas races at www.racing.hkjc.com one hour after each race has finished.

“S3” or “S4” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Digital Channels** on overseas races should mark the “S3 box” or “S4 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Digital Channels** interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.

If “S3” or “S4” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

Odds and starter information for overseas races 
The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available at all OCBBs# and via Digital Channels**.

Ticket sales arrangement for the overseas races
Tickets for Yasuda Kinen will be available for sale from 3:30 pm on Saturday, 1 June. Tickets for Prix du Jockey Club will be available for sale from 1:30 am on Sunday, 2 June. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)

On 2 June (Sunday), Sha Tin Racecourse and cross-betting facilities start selling the tickets for overseas races, namely Yasuda Kinen and Prix du Jockey Club from 2:15 pm.

* All customers must be aged 18 or above.
