Simulcast and betting arrangements for Kranji Mile Day and Lockinge Stakes Day World Pool on offer for Lockinge Stakes Day
HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will broadcast a total of 12 oversea races in Hong Kong on Saturday, 18 May, including seven races of Kranji Mile Day from Kranji Racecourse in Singapore and five races of Lockinge Stakes Day from Newbury Racecourse in Great Britain. Bets will be accepted* for these races and Double will be offered.
Two Double Trio pools will be offered for Kranji Mile Day. A jackpot of $416,641 is carried forward to its second Double Trio pool.
For Lockinge Stakes Day, World Pool will also be hosted (Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place, Forecast, Tierce and Treble) to ensure maximum liquidity for racegoers. Under World Pool branding as one of the betting partners of Lockinge Stakes Day, the HKJC has naming rights for one race of the meeting, namely HKJC World Pool Handicap (S2-5).
Race times and betting pools
The simulcast races of Kranji Mile Day are scheduled as S1-1 to S1-7, and are due to start at 2:30 pm on 18 May. The simulcast races of Lockinge Stakes Day are scheduled as S2-1 to S2-5, and are due to start at 8:50 pm on the same evening. Details of the post time and betting pools are:

Broadcast arrangements
Simulcast races will be broadcast on TV and radio. Customers can also review the overseas races at www.racing.hkjc.com one hour after each race has finished. A Mark Six draw will be also held on the same night. To facilitate the public in watching both the draw and simulcast races, TVB Plus (Channel 82) will broadcast the draw and simulcast races in a picture-in-picture format that evening. The broadcasting arrangements for the simulcast races are as follows:

“S1” or “S2” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Digital Channels** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box” or “S2 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Digital Channels** interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.
If “S1” or “S2” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.
Odds and starter information for overseas races
The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available at all OCBBs# and via Digital Channels**.
Ticket sales arrangement for the overseas races
Tickets for Kranji Mile Day and Lockinge Stakes Day will be available for sale from 12:00 noon on Friday, 17 May. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)
