HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast nine races of 2000 Guineas Day from Newmarket Racecourse in Great Britain on Saturday, 4 May. Bets will be accepted* for these races and Double will be offered.
Two Double Trio pools will be offered for 2000 Guineas Day. A jackpot of $62,993 is carried forward to its first Double Trio pool.
World Pool will be also offered (Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place, Forecast, Tierce and Treble) to ensure maximum liquidity for racing fans. Under World Pool branding as one of the betting partners of 2000 Guineas Day, the HKJC has naming rights for one race of the meeting, namely HKJC World Pool Handicap (S1-9).

Broadcast arrangements
Simulcast races will be broadcast on TV and radio. Customers can also review the overseas races at www.racing.hkjc.com one hour after each race has finished. A Mark Six draw will be also held on the same night. To facilitate the public in watching both the draw and simulcast races, TVB Plus (Channel 82) will broadcast the draw and simulcast races in a picture-in-picture format that evening. “S1” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Digital Channels** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Digital Channels** interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.
If “S1” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

Ticket sales arrangement for the overseas races
